Theatre study. Chicken grill.

Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:

• Montreal Rampage, writing about this year’s MainLine Gala for Student Drama, showcasing the talents of theatre students in Montreal, announces that the event opens with the stage presentation 'The Day God Planted a Tree', written and directed by Concordia playwriting student Julie Foster and starring a cast of Concordia performance majors. The MainLine Gala for Student Drama continues at the Main Line Theatre (3997 St Laurent) tonight and tomorrow at 8 pm and Sunday at 4 pm.
• History student Miranda Cipolla continues her gastronomy series in Mtl Blog with a look at Jano's Grillades, a restaurant specialized in Portuguese chicken, which is opening a new location in Montreal. In a separate Mtl Blog piece, Cipolla lists seven places where one can find affordable vegan groceries.
