• The Hill Times publishes an opinion piece by President Alan Shepard both online and in its print edition outlining a strategy to support the federal government’s investment in green technology. The op-ed calls for support for basic and applied research as well as public and private support for entrepreneurs in the clean technology sectors.
• A news release picked up by Le Lézard states that Concordia is one of fewer than a dozen Canadian universities currently participating in the UI GreenMetric World University 2015 rankings of the world's universities most heavily engaged in sustainable development. Concordia ranks 56th out of a worlwide ranking of 407 universities.
