  • Sunday afternoon's edition of CBC Radio's Spark included a mini documentary prepared by Michelle Macklem, a research assistant at the Ageing Communication Technology project and a Master's student in the Department of Communications whose recent work concerns itself with assistive technologies, like eye glasses. The segment, produced as part of Macklem's graduate research, looks at how human ability interacts with technology. Please note: the episode will be re-broadcast in its entirety  this Wednesday at 2:05 pm.
  • A recent retailing study by Onur Bodur, associate professor of marketing in the John Molson School of Business, is described in an article in The Globe and Mail. Bodur's study of web-to-store shopping showed how a growing proportion of consumers compare prices online before buying in-store. The paper was published in the Journal of Retailing.
