Concordia faculty and researchers are regularly asked to offer expert, informed opinions on many of today's most pressing problems. Read some of the latest news items about Concordians:
- India Blooms and New Kerala list Thomas Waugh, a Films Studies professor in the Department of Cinema, among the speakers at a transcontinental conference on LGBT identity labels. The event, scheduled for today, is hosted by the Whistling Woods International (WWI) media arts institute, in Mumbai.
- Michel Choquette, an instructor in the Department of English and the Department of Cinema, is featured in a Bill Brownstein piece in the Montreal Gazette about a documentary on the satirical publication The National Lampoon (1970 to 1998). Choquette, who once was a contributing editor and writer with the Lampoon, surmises that the publication would not have survived long in today's age of political correctness.
