Expert commentators

Concordia faculty and researchers are regularly asked to offer expert, informed opinions on many of today's most pressing problems. Read some of the latest news items about Concordians:

  • Simone de Beauvoir Institute research associate Kathleen O'Grady writes a commentary in the Toronto Star in which she calls on the Liberal government in Ottawa to introduce improvements to the Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP), created under the previous Conservative government. O'Grady proposes changes to the RDSP she believes would get more Canadians to use the savings plan. The piece is reprised by Our Windsor.
  • Ira Robinson, a professor of religion and chair and director of the Institute for Canadian Jewish Studies at Concordia, writes an article in The Canadian Jewish News profiling Rabbi Chaim Kruger (1875-1934), who was a Montreal journalist, philosopher and shoichet (a slaughterer who provides kosher meat).
