Students

Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:

  • Biochemistry student Isabela Waksman is mentioned in a Brazilian college blog piece on educacao.com (in Portugese) about last month's UN-sponsored International Model United Nations in New York. Waksman was a participant.
  • Branchez-vous writes about Cards Against Austerity, a party game created by Concordia's Fine Arts Student Alliance (FASA) and which follows the same rules as the Creative Commons game Cards Against Humanity. The 'austerity' version of the game invites web surfers to help build the anti-austerity game.
  • Stingers football player and NFL hopeful Mikaël Charland is profiled in Le Droit, which reports that Charland has been invited to an NFL regional camp in Baltimore, next February. Stingers coach Mickey Donovan is quoted. A separate article in Le Journal de Québec mentions that Charland and fellow Stingers player Roman Grozman have both been invited to the Baltimore NFL camp.
