Students
Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:
- The Guardian (Charlottetown) reports that Concordia student-athlete Trevor Banks (pictured) has won wrestling gold medals in the 54-kilogram division at both the McMaster invitational and the York University open. It states also that Banks will compete at the Canadian Interuniversity Sport championships in 2016, where he won a silver medal earlier this year.
- Money News and ForexTV.com pick up an earlier release announcing that Concordia translation student Louisane LeBlanc is one of two winners of the 2015 Accessible Media Inc. (AMI) $5,000 scholarship for post-secondary students with a disability.
- The McGill Reporter, published by McGill's news service, writes about the university's Innovation Week, which it says included a walking tour of Montreal's Quartier de l'innovation for a group of Concordia and McGill students.
