Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:  

• The story of Adam Schachner, the Montrealer who completed two bachelor's degrees simultaneously, is picked up by CBC.ca and Yahoo! News. Schachner earned a film animation degree from Concordia even as he completed an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering at McGill. Schachner explains that he started with his McGill engineering studies but got bored and decided to undertake a second degree program at Concordia's Faculty of Fine Arts. The undergrad is paraphrased saying the film animation degree from Concordia has helped with more.
• The Montreal Gazette writes about recent arrivals to Canada from Syria, including Eiad Herera, currently studying political science at Concordia.
