• Kyle Matthews, senior deputy director of the Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies (MIGS) is quoted in a piece on CBC.ca that analyzes the potential security risks involved in trying to meet the federal government's December 31 deadline for the resettlement of 25,000 Syrian refugees in Canada. Matthews says there's no significant risk to Canadians, but warns against cutting corners when screening and processing the refugee applicants.
