Students
Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:
- Two international students from France, Nina Goldstein and Gabrielle Larnaudie-Giffel, are quoted in an article in the Boston Globe about the reaction of French expatriates to the terror attacks in Paris. Another Concordia student from France, identified only as "Claire", tells Journal Métro that all people, regardless of nationality, are affected by terrorism and must stand together. The article is picked up by MSN Actualités.
- Le Journal de Montréal, Le Journal de Québec, LaPresse.ca, RDS.ca and TVA Sports report that Concordia Stingers quarterback Trenton Miller has received the Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ) Jeff Russell award as the most outstanding player of the year in Quebec university football. Additionally, the Victoria Times Colonist, Journal Métro and FM93.com report that Miller is one of two final nominees for the Hec Crighton Trophy, awarded by Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) to the most outstanding player in Canadian university football.
