Students

Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:

  • New Jersey Jewish News writes about "Yiddish Farm", a working farm in Goshen, New York, dedicated to the teaching of the Yiddish language. It mentions the Yiddish Farm experience of Micah Langer, who it says is starting a master’s program in French-English translation at Concordia.
  • CastaNet is among the latest to report on VoteNote, a mobile application developed by a group of Concordia journalism students who hope to boost voter turnout by youths in next month's federal election. The app uses GPS technology to identify a given voter's riding district and provide relevant riding information. The McGill Tribune publishes an article about youth voting in which it mentions VoteNote.
  • Fashion and lifestyle blogger Emmanuelle Côté posts an article on NaNa Toulouse about 'Banc public', a new Télé Québec social affairs t.v. magazine launching this evening at eight.
