Expert commentators
Concordia faculty and researchers are regularly asked to offer expert, informed opinions on many of today's most pressing problems. Read some of the latest news items about Concordians:
- Huffington Post runs an opinion piece in its blog written by Eva Pomeroy, lecturer in the Department of Applied Human Sciences. Pomeroy ponders the challenges of balancing work and family and writes about the value of care-giving.
- Psychology professor William Bukowski appears in a Global Montreal news report about a back-to-school clothes marketing campaign at the Fairview Mall in Pointe-Claire. The campaign appears to address itself directly to children under the age of 13, which could be contrary to Quebec's consumer protection legislation.
- Individualized Program doctoral candidate David Szanto, studying gastronomy, is asked by Le Devoir if the poutine, adopted and adapted worldwide, can still be considered a "Québécois" dish.
