Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:

  • CBC.ca writes about efforts by Concordia student Tricia Toso to draw attention to the musicality and cultural value of the Turcot Interchange, slated for demolition.  It reports that Toso has enlisted alumnus Nimalan Yoganathan (BFA, MA), a sound artist and composer, to mix recorded and live sound from the Turcot Yards for an hour-long performance. The brief is picked up by Yahoo! News.
  • The Montreal Gazette and its e-edition report that three Concordians were selected by the Montreal Stars in Sunday's player entry draft of the Canadian Women’s Hockey League: forwards Alyssa Sherrard and Audrey Morand and goaltender Jessica Anderson.
  • Emmanuelle Côté, a student in the Department of Communication Studies, writes a blog post in NaNa Toulouse about the recent reopening of the jewelry store Myel, following extensive renovations.
