- AMEQ en ligne (behind a paywall) reprises a Concordia news release on a study, co-authored by psychology professor William Bukowski, into how people with sex development disorders may have difficulty forming positive relationships.
- The Journal of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation and Prevention publishes a scientific review of a study of current methods of screening for depression in cardiac rehabilitation patients. Simon Bacon, assistant professor in the Department of Exercise Science, is listed among the study's authors.
- An article in the Chesterfield Virginia Observer about a school that teaches music to preschoolers quotes Virginia Penhune, professor in and chair of the Department of Psychology, from a 2013 study she conducted that found how musical training before age 7 affects the areas of the brain that help plan and carry out body movements.
