Students
Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:
- The Montreal Gazette and the paper's e-edition write about VoteNote, a new free smartphone application developed and launched by Concordia journalism student Matthew Heuman and four fellow-students in the Department of Journalism. VoteNote uses GPS technology to identify a given voter's riding district and to provide relevant riding information. Student Thierry Tardif, a member of the VoteNote project team, is quoted throughout. Thierry also appears in a video clip in the on-line edition of the Gazette.
- Concordia student Fannie Gadouas continues to speak out against American blogger Daryush Valizadeh, a self-proclaimed "pick-up artist" who has stirred controversy with his pronouncements on rape and consensual sex. Gadouas is interviewed on Radio Canada International about a petition to bar Valizadeh from entering Canada to deliver speeches in Montreal and Toronto.
- Communication student Emmanuelle Côté writes a piece for the lifestyle blog NaNa Toulouse about home decorating accessories found at HomeSense stores.
