Students
Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:
- Communication Studies and Film student Bella McFadden, also known as "Internet Girl", is interviewed by i-D Vice about her appearance in the recent Snapchat video Mudditchgirl91.
- Apex publishes an article featuring former and current Concordia industrial engineering students and their Capstone Engineering Design Project to improve airport contingency plans during winter storms. The students, working from a set of observations recorded at Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport during a severe winter storm in 2012, designed a model for contingency planning that yielded a 60 per cent drop in potential flight delays and cancellations. The six students are pictured: Dana Fruchter, Anita Sarkissian, Qasim Rehman, Alexa Ramia, Chyntia Sari and Shereen Ali.
- Concordia film student René Arseneau is featured in an article in Acadie Nouvelle about his appearance as an extra in the film Pixels
