- Mechanical Business reports on the recent annual meeting of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and mentions Andreas Athienitis, scientific director of the NSERC Smart Net-Zero Energy Buildings Strategic Research Network and Radu Zmeureanu, associate dean and professor in the Department of Building, Civil and Environmental Engineering, were recipients of a Technical Paper Award for “Multi-Objective Optimal Design of a Near Net Zero Energy Solar House”.
