Students
Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:
- The Westmount Examiner reports that JMSB commerce student Mary-Lou Morin captained the Canadian synchronized swim team to a gold medal in the team event at the Pan Am Games over the weekend.
- Radio Canada International posts a story online about the 'Vote Note' smartphone application whose developer, Concordia journalism student Matthew Heuman, hopes will counter voter apathy, notably among younger Canadians. The app uses GPS technology to identify a given voter's riding district and provide relevant candidate names, polling station locations and a clock that counts down to election day.
