Concordia faculty and researchers are regularly asked to offer expert, informed opinions on many of today's most pressing problems. Read some of the latest news items about Concordians:
- Ottawa Life Magazine publishes an op-ed about the dearth of media coverage of health care issues in Canada and the importance of op-eds written about health policy. The piece is co-authored by Kathleen O'Grady, a research associate at the Simone de Beauvoir Institute, and University of Manitoba professor Noralou Roos.
- Vivek Venkatesh, associate professor in the Department of Education, is mentioned and pictured in an article in Camuz featuring an interview with illustrator and musician Filip Ivanović. The focus of the interview is Ivanović's participation in the recent Montreal Comiccon 2015. There is also a mention of Grimposium, an interdisciplinary metal music event created by Venkatesh in collaboration with Concordia.
