• Daniel Salée, professor in the School of Community and Public Affairs, is quoted in a piece in Le Devoir about the state of First Peoples activism among the Mohawk, notably in Kanesatake, in the decades following the Oka territorial claims crisis of 1990.
• TheCanadianPress.com posts an article quoting William Reimer, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, about certain Canadian towns giving away parcels of land to attract prospective home builders. The original article, appearing last week, was picked up by numerous news outlets.
