Students

Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:

  • Academica publishes a news brief quoting a Concordia MBA student about the practice of some business schools in Australia of offering no-cost or low-cost MBA's to eligible women in an effort to boost female representation in business programs. The student, who is not named in the brief, is in fact Christina Paylan, a former president of the JMSB's Women in Business Club. The original article appeared in The Globe and Mail.
  • The Montreal Gazette publishes an article about a recent Université de Montréal study of post-traumatic stress disorder in women who have survived and left violent domestic relationships. It includes a profile of one survivor, identified by the fictitious name "Rona", who it says is currently completing graduate studies at the John Molson School of Business.
  • In her latest post on the lifestyle and fashion blog NaNa Toulouse, Communication student Emmanuelle Côté focuses on La Scena restaurant's terrasses, in the Old Port.
