Expert commentators
Concordia faculty and researchers are regularly asked to offer expert, informed opinions on many of today's most pressing problems. Read some of the latest news items about Concordians:
- After earlier appearing in the first part of a five-part series on the advent of La Pesse Plus, the tablet app created by La Presse two years ago, Lisa Lynch is quoted again in the third part of the series, published by Net News Check. Lynch discusses the tensions that arose between La Presse and its labour unions as the newspaper sought to establish its La Presse Plus app.
- Craig Townsend, associate professor in the Department of Planning Geography and Environment, and alumnus Thomas McGurk are referred to in a footnote to an article in Architectureau about the work of Australian urban planner Paul Mees. The footnote is in regards to a 2011 working paper by Townsend and McGurk titled "Comparative Analysis of Urban Population Density and Its Implications for Transportation Planning: New Tools for an Old Debate".
