Students
Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:
- Le Journal de Québec writes about the humanitarian work of Concordia student Élise Sarah Apap Finkelstein in Nepal in the wake of recent earthquakes and aftershocks in that country. Apap Finkelstein was in Nepal to film a documentary about Tibetan refugees when the first earthquake hit, late last month, and has stayed in Nepal to participate in relief efforts.
- A Concordia student, identified only as "Dovina", tells an interviewer for a profile in the David Suzuki Foundation publication that she is currently working on a BA in Human Environment at Concordia. The profile focuses on Dovina's work as a night-time produce picker in a greenhouse operation in Laval (Fermes Lufa). The article is reprised by Huffington Post Quebec.
- Voir writes about the work of artist Alexandra Levasseur, on show at Galerie ROCCIA until May 31st, and mentions that Levasseur is currently studying animation at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema.
