The federal government is planning to seek an emergency stay of an Alberta’s judge’s decision to grant former Guantanamo Bay prisoner, Omar Khadr, bail. Kyle Matthews, senior deputy director of the Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies, can weigh in on whether the Canadian government is refusing Khadr his legal rights.
