Expert commentators
Concordia faculty and researchers are regularly asked to offer expert, informed opinions on many of today's most pressing problems. Read some of the latest news items about Concordians:
- Kyle Matthews, senior deputy director of the Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies, appears in studio on Global Montreal to talk about the Celtic MTL 2015 convention, May 2nd and 3rd, at the EV and LB buildings. Matthews will be an MC of the event. He is interviewed along with event organizer Nick Guerin. Yahoo! News provides a video link to the Global interview.
- Patrick Leroux, associate professor in the Department of English and the Département d'études françaises and founding director of the Montreal Working Group on Cirque/Circus, is quoted in an article in the Financial Times about the sale of Cirque du Soleil to American and Chinese investors. Leroux warns the investors against the dangers of allowing the Cirque to become a mere brand-name. The article is reprised by Euro2day.
