Students

Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:

  • JMSB undergraduate students Anthony Esposito and Jessie Carmichael appear in an in-studio Global Montreal interview about their win at the recent "Canada’s Next Top Ad Exec" advertising and marketing case competition in Toronto. The win netted them each a new car. It also included a $5000 donation to the JMSB. Yahoo! News provides a link to the Global video.
  • MAtv announces that Concordia journalism student Émilie Berthier will participate as a tweeter in MAtv's OPEN Télé program, where the art of debating will be discussed. The program airs tomorrow at 8 p.m.
  • Journal Métro posts video and a photo gallery of "Silent Disco Squad," a multi-university student event held in the streets of Montreal yesterday afternoon, to mark the end of classes at Concordia, McGill and UQAM. The event involved hundreds of students dancing to the same music playing in a loop through their telephones and earphones.
