- Sciences et Avenir is the latest to report on a Concordia study that shows online password meters to be inconsistent and unreliable. The researchers, Mohammad Mannan, assistant professor in the Concordia Institute for Information Systems Engineering (CIISE) and Xavier de Carné de Carnavalet, CIISE doctoral candidate, rated the password strength meters of several high-traffic web service providers.
