Students
Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:
- A CNW/Telbec release announces the winners of the 2015 Claudine and Stephen Bronfman Fellowship in Contemporary Art, each worth $60,500: Concordia's Velibor Božović and UQAM's Myriam Jacob-Allard, both Master's graduates. Božović, a photographer, also obtained his BFA from Concordia and is a previous winner of the Concordia International Mobility Award. Jacob-Allard, a multimedia artist, is a former Concordia student (BFA, studio arts, 2009). The release is picked up by Le Lézard. A separate release is issued by the UQAM news service, which also posts a photo gallery of Monday's award ceremony. The winners are pictured alongside Claudine and Stephen Bronfman. Božović is also pictured with President Alan Shepard and Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Catherine Wild.
- Arturo Vasquez, student in the Department of Political Science, participates in the inaugural edition of the Forget the Box audio podcast. Vasquez first appears at the 10:25 mark.
