  • The Leader-Post reprises an earlier Montreal Gazette podcast featuring an interview with political science lecturer Bruce Hicks about whether Canadians' perceived fear of terrorism may boost the electoral fortunes of the governing Conservative Party of Canada. Hicks appears at the 1:13 mark.
  • Marketing professor Jordan Le Bel, director of the JMSB's Executive MBA program, is quoted in an article in Canadian Grocer about the practice by Canadian supermarket chains of naming brand ambassadors.
  • Suzanne Reisler Litwin, an instructor in the School of Extended Learning, writes an article in The Suburban in which she offers advice about getting in touch with your humanity in the "i-world" information age.
  • Le Soleil writes about Autrui, the latest film by Micheline Lanctôt, part-time instructor in the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema.
  • Psychology assistant professor Theresa Bianco is interviewed on CBC radio’s The Sunday Edition and is quoted in a CBC text story about the "bystander effect," where bystanders may fail to bring aid to a person in physical or other distress. She discusses the case of 59-year old Radil Hebrich, who lay bleeding for sixteen minutes on a Montreal Metro platform, in full view of bystanders, and who died later in hospital. Bianco is first heard at the 3:50 mark of the audio file.
