- La Presse publishes an op-ed piece by André Gagné, associate professor in the departments of Religion and Theology, about self-proclaimed religious ministers. He mentions Hamza Chaoui and his claim that he is an Imam. In the piece, Gagné calls on the Québec government to require specialized university training for anyone claiming to be a religious leader.
- The Province reprises a report linking to a Montreal Gazette podcast where Political Science instructor Bruce Hicks is interviewed about the resignation of John Baird as Conservative MP and Foreign Affairs Minister. Hicks appears at the 1:15 mark.
