Immam's community centre blocked

Imam Hamza Chaoui has been denied a permit to move ahead with the creation of a community centre before even submitting a formal application. Montreal Mayor Denis Coderre says the imam is an “agent of radicalization” who would incite youth to commit acts of violence.
