- Venture Beat and Tech Cocktail report that the TAG Research Centre will receive a $35,000 grant from the Chicago-based Prototype Fund of the Knight Foundation. The grant will help fund TAG's Indie Games Licensing project on the licensing and circulation of independent video games at libraries.
- South Asia Mail covers Concordia research into the health benefits of cultivating a wide circle of friends. The research, published in The Annals of Behavioral Medicine, is led by psychology assistant professor Jean-Philippe Gouin.
- La Source writes about a study, led by associate professor of psychology Krista Byers-Heinlein, on the impact of bilingualism on children's early cognitive development.
