• Red Orbit writes about a study according to which children who are encouraged to be autonomous tend to develop higher cognitive skills. The Concordia researchers involved, from the Centre for Research in Human Development, are psychology professors Lisa Serbin and Dale Stack and psychology graduate (MA) Brenda Harvey. The findings are reported in theJournal of Youth and Adolescence. 
• The Wellington Advertiser writes about a study from the Center for Research in Human Development into how stronger self-esteem may help guard against health threats in later adulthood. The Concordia researchers are psychology professor Carsten Wrosch and doctoral candidate in clinical psychology Sara Liu. 
• Psychology professor Jim Pfaus discusses his research into human sexuality in an interview with Playboy.
