- cbc.ca posts an article, reprised by Yahoo, in which master's candidate in engineering and computer science Arash Khodadadi claims discrimination following the CIBC bank's recent decision to close Khodadadi's bank account because he holds an Iranian passport. The article suggests the decision was made in line with Canadian sanctions against Iran over its suspected nuclear weapons program.
