- A page on globeandmail.com links back to a story on Yahoo about research by Zachary Patterson, assistant professor in the Department of Geography, Planning and Environment, on mobility trends among seniors and the increasing rate at which seniors are moving from the city to the suburbs. The Canadian Press also posts the story on its website.
- Academica and UBC Science pick up an earlier story that mentions Concordia's involvement in the Industrial Biocatalysis Network (IBN), a research project to find new ways to produce eco-friendly plastics and chemicals. The Concordia researcher involved is Vincent Martin.
