Canadiens worth $1 billion

Forbes magazine’s annual ranking of the value of NHL franchises shows the Canadiens are now worth $1 billion. The team ranks in third position just behind the Toronto Maple Leafs ($1.3 billion) and the New York Rangers ($1.1 billion). The Canadiens’ value last year was $775 million.
