• i-dietetique.com writes about research by Mesbah Sharaf and Sunday Azagba while they were doctoral candidates in the economics department showing that Canadians, generally, don't eat the recommended daily intake of fruits and vegetables. The study appears in Nutrition Journal (2011).
• Bay Today picks up an earlier story about the research of Zachary Patterson, assistant professor in the Department of Geography, Planning and Environment, on mobility trends among seniors and the increasing rate at which seniors are moving from the city to the suburbs. Patterson is quoted. The research findings were published recently in the Journal of Transport Geography.
