Students

Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:

  • The Montreal Gazette writes that accounting student Keisha Goodleaf of the Mohawk Nation is one of ten winners in the Aboriginal Student Awards Program, sponsored by the Royal Bank of Canada.
  • The Globe and Mail writes about the agreement that allows students from France to pay the same tuition rate as students from Quebec and quotes Ruben Abitbol, a student in the John Molson School of Business, who says it would be difficult for him to pay the rate other Canadian students are charged.
  • Second-year Concordia student Claudia Di Iorio is quoted in a report in the Montreal Gazette on a deadly traffic accident involving five teenagers. The article mentions that Di Iorio, who survived a bad accident four years ago after getting into a car with a man who had been drinking, has often spoken in schools about the dangers of drinking and driving.
