Students in the news

Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:

  • CTV News Montreal featured a segment about the Concordia Stingers football team and their first win over Bishop’s University. Head coach, Mickey Donovan, is interviewed.

  • Le Droit publishes about the Eco Youth project led by a team of undergraduate students from the John Molson School of Business. The project focuses on the lack of sustainability education in local youth centres and is designed to address the feeling of social isolation and lack of confidence experienced by many youths, particularly in first generation immigrants.

  • The West Island Gazette profiles the hip-hop duo, Flosho, Adam “A-Sho” Shomer and James “J-Flo” Floreani, about their one-hour interactive music-and-talk presentation called the Stay Up Campaign to combat bullying. Floreani is currently studying in the Department of Journalism.
