Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:
- Le Devoir (and attached PDF) publishes an opinion piece by Jean-Claude Marsan, professor emeritus at l’Université de Montréal, who holds up the Grey Nuns renovation project as an example of a project that serves not only students but the entire neighborhood as it preserves much-needed green space. Marsan suggests l’Université de Montréal follow Concordia’s example for its former convent buildings as he believes they would be better suited to conservation and renovation than conversion into condominiums. A pull-quote reads “La direction de l’UdeM devrait copier l’approche de l’Université Concordia pour le 1420”.
