Concordia faculty and researchers are regularly asked to offer expert, informed opinions on many of today's most pressing problems. Read some of the latest news items about Concordians:

• On Saturday, The Gazette published an opinion piece by Francine Tremblay, an instructor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology. Tremblay writes about Bill C-36, the federal government’s new legislation governing prostitution. The op-ed generated this letter to the editor.
• The Sydney Morning Herald writes about the Australian applicants for the Mars One Project and mentions Raye Kass, professor in the Department of Applied Human Sciences, as a member of the selection team.
