- The Montreal Gazette published an op-ed, online and its hardcopy, co-written by Gary Shapiro, founder and chair of the group Canadian Rights in Quebec (CRITIQ), and Kyle Gregor-Pearse, a student in the Department of Communication Studies, about assigning Montreal a “metropolis status” and how Montreal is politically different than the rest of Quebec.
