Expert commentators
Concordia faculty and researchers are regularly asked to offer expert, informed opinions on many of today's most pressing problems. Read some of the latest news items about Concordians:
- President and
Vice-Chancellor Alan Shepard was interviewed on CTV News yesterday
in the wake of his participation in last week’s International Economic Forum of
the Americas. Shepard discussed innovation and how universities and businesses
need to collaborate to foster new ideas and bring about change in cities such
as Montreal.
- Kyle Matthews, senior deputy director of the Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies (MIGS), wrote an opinion piece advocating for Canada to welcome refugees from Syria: The Ottawa Citizen. The op-ed was also published in the Leader-Post.
