Students in the news
Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:
- The Montreal Gazette features a story about three students from Quebec who won gold medals for their innovative research at the National Science Fair, including Cameron Lennox who received the gold medal for new research into the crystallization properties of magnesium sulphate. Lennox says he plans to continue his research at Concordia in the Department of Chemistry.
- Ahmad Moujtahed, a student in the Department of Communications Studies and the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema, is interviewed about his time studying at the École de français de Rivière-du-Loup, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary: Hebdos Régionaux Bas-Saint-Laurent.
- La Tribune publishes an article about the film La petite reine, which was inspired by the life of the cyclist Geneviève Jeanson, who is now studying neuropsychology at Concordia. The article is reprised by Le Huffington Post Québec.
