  • Research conducted by Onur Bodur, professor in the Department of Marketing, in collaboration with Bianca Grohmann and Kimberly Duval, professors in the Department of Marketing, found that asking ourselves, or predicting, whether we will engage in sustainable shopping behavior can increase the likelihood of following through – especially when there’s an audience. The article is featured on Climate Wire (see attached).

  • Stuff covers an international study conducted by Adam Radomsky, professor in the Department of Psychology, in collaboration with 15 other researchers worldwide that found 94 per cent of people experience unwanted, intrusive thoughts, images and/or impulses. The results of this study means that therapists can focus on applying effective treatments for OCD that will work cross-culturally.

  • Jim Pfaus, professor in the Department of Psychology, and Jeffrey Mogil, a psychology professor at McGill University, have investigated the direct impact of pain on sexual behaviour in mice. Their research reveals that females in pain are more likely to say no to sex than their male counterparts. Further coverage can be found on ClinicaSpace.
