Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:

• The Gazette published an opinion piece by Barbara Madimenos, a student in the Department of English, about the value of small talk and active listening in the context of customer service but also in engaging the general public following the Quebec election.

• Three Concordia students, Claire Warmels, Jess Alley and Ludmila Karabaciska, are among more than eight hundred signatories to an open letter published in Straight.com calling for Canada to adopt a Nordic-model approach to prostitution.

• Quinn Smith, the Concordia Stingers football team's defensive lineman, was ranked fourth by the CFL Scouting Bureau: The Whig-Standard.
