Fair Elections Act
Hundreds of academics took aim at the Conservative government's electoral reform bill in an open letter to Prime Minister Stephen Harper, MPs and senators. Among those who co-signed the letter was Stephen White, a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Political Science. Dr. White's expertise is focused on Canadian public opinion and political behaviour and he can weigh in on what the Fair Elections Act might mean for Canadians.
