Expert commentators

Concordia faculty and researchers are regularly asked to offer expert, informed opinions on many of today's most pressing problems. Read some of the latest news items about Concordians:

  • Gad Saad, professor in the Department of Marketing, appeared on Gluck Radio to discuss how people’s Darwinian drives influence the consumption decisions we make: from sports cars to spouses. • Concordia is partnering with The Walrus magazine for The Walrus Talks Climate, an event that takes place in Ottawa on April 28. The Globe and Mail (see attached) publishes an interview with event participants Damon Matthews, professor in the Department of Geography, Planning and Environment, Liz Miller, professor in the Department of Communication Studies, and Peter Stoett, professor in the Department of Political Science.

  • The Globe and Mail publishes an op-ed co-signed by over 400 Canadian academics, including several Concordia professors from various departments across the university.
