- The Gazette covers research conducted by Marc Lafrance, professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, in collaboration with Lori Burns, music professor at the University of Ottawa. They investigated whether Lady Gaga’s representation of race and disability are on par with her subversive representation of gender and sexuality.
- The Pioneer refers to a recently published international study conducted by Adam Radomsky, professor in the Department of Psychology, in collaboration with 15 other researchers worldwide. It found that 94 per cent of people experience unwanted, intrusive thoughts, images and/or impulses. The results of this study means that therapists can focus on applying effective treatments for OCD that will work cross-culturally.
