Tories prepare new sex work bill

On Monday, April 7, Justice Minister Peter MacKay announced that there will be a new bill reforming Canada’s sex work laws will be before MPs early this spring. Frances Shaver, professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, has conducted extensive research on sex work and can weigh in on the various facets of the Bill and what the decriminalization of sex work means for Canada.
